    It doesn't matter who the Lakers win against. A win is a win. A loss is a loss. And it counts as one, no matter what. Whether you win by 40 points or lose by 1.

    Winning against the Portland Trail Blazers would be equally as satisfying as winning against, let's say, the Celtics. Our win record just goes up one.

    big wins and losses have huge psychological factors in them. they have lost 8 straight at the RG...need to get that monkey off their back.

    Lakers win...they're 1st in the West....Lakers lose....they're 1st in the West. It doesn't matter to the Lakers until post season IMO.

    Actually they're in a win-lose situation. If they win, they add a win to their 'W' column, if they lose it goes in the 'L' column.
