I think the Lakers could care less. Bynum may/may not benefit from some rest. Then again, he might just hobble around for the rest of the playoffs. The Lakers swept the Rockets 4-0 in the reg season - winning by an average of 13 pts. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if Houston closed in Game 5. They will probably sweep or beat Houston in 5 whether they start this started tomorrow or two weeks from now. As bad as WE matched up against the Rockets - they don't match up good with the Lakers. They don't score enough points, and while they play good defense - not good enough to hold the Lakers under 100. And they can't score 100 + points.
There's a 0% chance Stern lets the Lakers lose in the 2nd round, so it doesn't really matter who the Lakers want.
