<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 8 -- Gilbert Arenas said he understands Allen Iverson's frustration over the direction of the Philadelphia 76ers. Iverson reportedly has demanded a trade after 11 seasons with the 76ers and was at home for Friday night's game.

This summer, Arenas referenced Iverson and Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Garnett when he stressed that he wanted to see the Wizards aggressively build a championship contending team while he's still in his prime.

"It's hard in this league because when a team is built around you, it has to be built around you right," Arenas said before Friday's game. "That's why it's so important that I structure my next contract so that it will allow us to go out and get players if we need to. If you look at Allen and KG, they are making so much money, they really can't go out and get other star players. They're kind of stuck."</div>
