from the looks of it I wish we still had ariza and lb never went for that trade. ariza has had double digit scoring games in the last 7. francis looks like he's out for the season or the majority of it with his knee tendinitis. I liked ariza in his short stint here. he provided good energy and pretty good defense and doesn't demand the ball on offense. I haven't seen him play yet but do you magic fans like ariza?
Yes, Magic fans LOVE Trevor Ariza. He's a finisher, slasher, one that makes the most of his opportunity when he's in the game. He can be an option 1 or 2 in years to come because of his ability to attack the basket. He's only 21 YEARS OLD.Pure energy, effort, hard play, and a team guy. Ariza should be talked about in the trio of Howard, Nelson, and Milicic. Hes gonna be a very good basketball player if he continues to improve his game. His outside shooting has gotten much better over last season, but what he really has is very good basketball instincts. And he's a VERY good offensive rebounder...something Orlando didn't expect when recieving him in the Steve Francis deal. :dribble:
Like D12 said, Magic fans absolutely love Trevor Ariza. He does everything that you love from a basketball, and has all the tools to be a very good player in the future. He hustles every game, brings all the excitement possible to the game with his hustle and great athleticism. He is the best perimeter defender on the team, and I believe one of the better defensive players in the league. He will guard anyone, and guard them well. His athleticism allows him to recover if beaten and be able to slide in front of just about anyone. He has great instincts for causing deflections, and knowing when to rotate onto a player for defense. He slash's to the hoop alot, and can take lots of people off the dribble. Like has been mentioned, he is also a good offensive rebounder which was a complete surprise. The Magic got the good end of the stick on this trade, the Knicks got a ball hog that wants to be the star and traded.
I always liked ariza and was upset to see him go because the guy was a flat out steal and a good find by isiah in the 2nd round. it's all lb's fault that we traded ariza for francis. brown said ariza was delusional. Trevor Ariza, straight out of UCLA! :rock: But yeah, this guy is a good player. He is a good defender and can be explosive at times. He is also not a bad shooter and he does the little things on the court to help his team win.
This was a horrilbe trade by IT. We had a chance to finally dump salary too, because we traded Hardaway, and we didn't do it.
yep we Magic Fans do LOVE ARIZA. The guy just brings his game and explodes when he is on the court. Alot of potential in the guy and a bit more experience he will be a really great player
Ariza was a great trade for orlando hes young and can become a really good player. Francis was getting older and wasnt as good of a team player as ariza is.
