Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone James Posey-like situation. Fuck........... If he bolts for Cleveland's MLE, I'll fucking hate him. That is a crock of shit if he does. I can see him leaving for Portland or Toronto, a team willing to offer more than $5.6 million. Get Artest.
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone Lol that sounds like Bull. Why would he bolt for another MLE? Sounds like whining from his camp.
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone Shape, maybe he should leave though? Artest is a better player. Is it too late to go after him?
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone On ESPN they were saying Ariza thought it was a "slap in the face" to be offered only the MLE and might take another MLE on another team just to spite the Lakers... That sounds like his agent if u ask me
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone It's not too late. From what I can put together Ariza is option A for most teams and Artest is option B. The Lakers have a contingent plan if Ariza leaves so I'm not overly concerned. We still made it to the Finals two seasons ago without him or Bynum. I really like Ariza and I hope he and his agent are just posturing at this point and come to their senses. Sticking with the Lakers is the best move for his long term career. Dr. Buss has ALWAYS rewarded his players.
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone Laker's MLE or Cleveland's MLE Hm, yes I find it very hard to believe, that if both teams offer the same amount, he'd bolt for Cleveland after everything that happened this year. Smart journalism. ESPN FTW
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone You think David Lee is still butt hurt about the way Bynum's contract turned out? I guess he hasn't learned how to be a professional agent and negotiate with some class. http://hoopshype.com/agents/david_lee.htm He only has 4 clients LMAO
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone Shape you should be an agent, you have all the connections. Something with value in the NBA at least. :O
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone Haha I've been told that before, but I wouldn't have the patience to baby sit multi-millionaire prima donnas. I know some agents who represent guys in the NFL. They don't have a personal life. It's probably a lot of fun if your young, single and like the hollywood lifestyle. That chapter of my life is over.
Re: BSPN: Ariza likely gone What about GM then? :O You'd have to pay your dues climbing the ladder first though, of course.
