Like I said before, I suppose this could give Warner the edge in Arizona.

This is a preseason game. The only guys that you should be paying attention to are the ones who are fighting to get on the bottom half of the 53-man roster. Also, consider that preseason games often involve plays that they would never call in the regular season, just to see what certain players can do. Going for it on 4th and 8 from midfield, during the first half when the score is 3-0 is a great example. They are just practicing.

We lost Oren O'Neal and Drew Carter for the season due to injury. Yay, I love preseason games...

Javon Walker is back in the fold, mentally. He caught some difficult catches that makes me believe that.

Zack Miller is J-Roc's favorite go-to guy. Not bad.

Justin Griffith needs to step up his blocking. I watched him fail to block the extra rushers on the left side more than once. Kwame Harris had his man, but the FB failed to take the guy that blitzed from further outside.

Oren Oneal (2nd string FB) is gone to injury for the rest of the year. Griffith needs to step up.

Drew Carter is out for the rest of the season. He was clicking with J-Roc. Oh well. I guess that means there is a much greater chance that some of the training camp favorites will make the roster. Todd Watson or Chad Shilienz might make the team. That's not a bad thing. They were good enough but were in a position with several other veterans that could have taken it.

Yeah that really sucks about O'Neal and Carter. We already lack receivers and to lose a guy competing as the #2 receiver is gonna hurt. Bright side is that Curry probably would have won the job anyway- it sounded like Carter was doing well in camp but in the preseason games he was less than spectacular and Curry always seems to wind up being the Raiders' best WR. Plus like you said now we get to see more Schillens or Watkins and I've liked what I've seen from them in limited playing time. Maybe even Johnnie Lee Higgins will do ok at WR.

I know it's just preseason but we have had like 5 consecutive getting our ass kicked seasons. When you don't have football for awhile and this is what you get you want your team to win even in preseason. Either way looking at some of the players I have been dissappointed.
