So is there anyone here with a law or medical background or just have good insight into how the malpractice claims that ARod's group is putting out there? Basically, sounds like they are saying the Dr. either ignored or missed issues with the left hip in the earlier MRI in October and then it wasn't diagnosed until the end of that month. My question would be from a legal standpoint, how was he harmed by the 2 1/2 week delay on the diagnosis and is there actual harm required in malpractice cases or is the system so messed up that the delay is cause for malpractice? This is a difficult piece of this because no one wants a Dr. to miss an issue if thats what has happened here but again, without defending the Dr. as thats not what this is about, but again what are the damages? ARod and his team obviously want to use this as a means to distract and deflect from the PED issues and I'm just wondering how much traction this has.
...cy, like you said, this is yet another deflection tactic by ARod and from little I've read about it, it it seems that maybe Cashman simply mis-spoke when he mentioned when they became aware of ARod's injury...I think maybe he has the dates mixed up. ...this thing has turned into something like a nasty divorce. One spouse hires an investigator to gather proof that the other has been unfaithful. Once the evidence has been found, divorce papers are filed. And though both parties know the marriage is over, lawyers get involved and the defendant's lawyer is relegated to dredging up mistakes that the plaintiff made in the past.
Am I crazy, and just missing something here. This has to be a bluff, a public relations ploy, to preoccupy the minions while you have to believe all this arod Camp promotion and talk is to buy time. Time for what, what is the "Holy Grail" that Arod wants. Time is not on his side. A malpractice suit would lead to depositions, medical records, etc... Arod would lose in that exchange. It's a hail mary as the clock runs down, desperation...
