Nobody should want to play the Warriors. Certainly not one game. Probably can get them in a 7 game series but one game is a total crap shoot and the Warriors can beat anyone on any given night.

Not an entirely unreasonable position. On the other hand, if they think they're good enough to win the championship, they shouldn't care who they get in the first round. All that should matter is that they get in.

Sure they do--but is it so important that they would risk a one-and-done game against Steph Curry? I think not.

That is the part that makes me question this. Not sure I trust Steph and Klay and Green and Looney and Paul and Kuminga not to have a great game.
