<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Penn State defeated Tennessee in the Outback Bowl, but Sears represented himself well, especially when the Volunteers dropped back to pass. Sears got set quickly and did an excellent job of controlling defenders with his hands. While he could have been more aggressive, he got into good position and flashed above-average power when Tennessee ran behind him.Over the course of the season, Sears flashed more of a mean streak than he showed earlier in his career and showed enough quickness to stay at tackle -- though it might be on the right side -- rather than moving to guard. The problem is, he hasn't dominated the point of attack consistently despite his excellent natural ability. That lends some credence to questions about his intensity and willingness to work. With that in mind, a strong week at the Senior Bowl -- where he'll work against some of the better defensive lineman in the nation -- is important.</div>

I've been a fan of Sears for a while. I still see him as a good option in the Second Round, but a reach if he was to go in the First Round. The Above-Average Power in the Run Game is what I like to see especially. I don't believe any of the questioning of his intensity or willingness to work because everything I've read about him makes him seem look a good overall guy.
