The debt-ridden tycoon Christopher Foster killed his own wife and teenage daughter before setting his house on fire and committing suicide, police believe. West Mercia police revealed this afternoon they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths of the family because they believe the tycoon was the killer. CCTV recovered from the burnt-out family home appeared to show Mr Foster brandishing a rifle as he walked around the extensive outbuildings. He was then shown driving the horse box into position to barricade the drive up to the mansion and emerging from the cabin to shoot out two of the lorry's tyres. Police believe he had already killed his wife Jillian, 49, and daughter Kirstie, 15, at this point and went back into the house to kill himself as the fire took hold. A body, now confirmed as Mr Foster's, was found next to that of his wife in a bedroom. Mrs Foster had been shot in the head. Police said a cause of death still has to be established for her millionaire husband. They have also yet to formally identify the third body as Kirstie's. Detectives, however, believe the final body is the missing teenager's because of where it was found in Osbaston House in Shropshire. The gunman, now believed to be Mr Foster, had also killed the family's dogs and their horses whose charred corpses were found in the stables. Det Supt Jon Groves said: 'We believe Mr Foster killed his wife and daughter before setting the fires which destroyed his home and many of its outbuildings in the early hours of Tuesday. 'Jill Foster died from a gun shot wound to the head before the fire was started. A cause of death has yet to be established for Mr Foster and the body we believe to be Kirstie. 'A rifle discovered near Mr and Mrs Foster's bodies on Friday has been positively identified as belonging to Christopher Foster.
