"Artest on his Way" <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MINNEAPOLIS -- For five days, much of the talk at the Target Center centered on Indiana Pacers forward Ron Artest, clearly the best player in the six-team summer league. Had he really changed? Was Artest the same player -- a former All-Star, NBA Defensive Player of the Year -- he was before he was suspended for the final 73 regular-season games and postseason for going into the stands at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Nov. 19? How would Artest, playing in his first competitive games in more than eight months, be received by the crowd? Artest finished his summer stint by scoring 15 points and chanting "Let's go, Pacers!" from the bench late in the fourth quarter as Indiana (3-2) scored an 80-65 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday</div> RealGm
He can't lose all his skill by not playing competitvely for 8 months... I think he's going to be an even better player than he used to be. He got his rest, he still played ball constantly, he practiced with the team... He's gonna come through the gates this year... THROUGH THE ROOF.
