<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 13 (Ticker) -- Ron Artest reminded the fans at Conseco Fieldhouse of what they missed, while rookie Sarunas Jasikevicius gave them a glimpse of what is to come. Artest scored 23 points in his first home game since his lengthy suspension and Jasikevicius added 13 of his 18 in the fourth quarter as the Indiana Pacers posted a 99-92 preseason triumph over the Utah Jazz. One of the league's top defensive players, Artest was playing his first game at home since the infamous brawl in Detroit last Nov. 19. He was suspended for the remainder of the season. After receiving a warm reception from the crowd, Artest made 6-of-13 shots and grabbed six rebounds in 35 minutes. Only two of Artest's points came in the final period, when Jasikevicius took over. The MVP of the 2005 Euroleague Final Four, Jasikevicius scored eight points in a 14-4 run in the fourth, including a 3-pointer that gave Indiana an 88-83 edge with 3:22 left. The third overall pick in the 2005 draft, rookie Deron Williams had 17 points and six assists in 23 minutes for Utah, which played without Carlos Boozer and Matt Harpring. </div> Recap Box Score
Artest is a certifiable looney bins. And he'll always be a thug! They oughta buy him a pair of skates, give him a helmet, let him pad up and point him in the direction of the the nearest NHL arena. Thats where they play his kind of game. He could grab a stick and mug somebody and it'd all be legal. Or better yet, maybe they would gang up on his a$$ and teach him the lesson he deserves. Mark my words, it's only a matter of time before he goes berserk again, and it could get real ugly next time. Tank
