That rumor doesn't hold any water...."person from the basketball staff" ? That could be an assistance coach, the assistant coach has almost no say so in a players movement. And like gotrunks said, what would the trade be?
well, the lakers wanted jalen last year too, so this time they might be able to get him for a change. but austin croshere? man....that's bad unless we get granger hahahahahaha
Croshere isn't worth picks. maybe the Nuggets first but i doubt it, However Croshere would fit in the Raptors nicely.. a player who tends to throw up shots instead of driving, passing or posting up.

Since yesterday, I?ve learned that either Lamar Odom or Kwame Brown would also be part of the trade -- most likely Brown, as the Lakers reportedly have indicated that they will not move Odom, period. I guess the trade would look something like this: Artest to the Lakers, J. Rose to Indiana Kwame Brown and Croshere to Raptors and a few other players so the contracts match up, with Indiana getting a pick from the lakers
