Paul Pierce has missed 23 of his 36 shots he has taken in the Finals and refuses to give any credit to Ron Artest.

"I don't really see anything he's doing special that any other teams haven't done throughout the course of the playoffs," Pierce told the media Wednesday, including Arash Markazi of ESPNLosAngeles.com. "That's it."

Pierce says it's only a coincidence that some of his worst games have come this season against Artest.

    "I think so," he said.

Artest doesn't think it's inevitable that Pierce will breakout of is shooting slump.

"Who said that?" Artest asked. "Who said that it's inevitable? I don't know what the game's going to bring, but I know I'll be playing better defensively. I don't like the way I've been playing defense, so I'm going to make sure I step up."

I know, but this part needs its own spotlight. Haha.

I want to see the 09 Artest when he was with the Houston Rockets, defending Bryant.

So would I, but I don't think the powers that be will allow him to be that physical with Pierce. Its great basketball though when you have two guys going at it in the post season.
