Darrell Arthur is expected to make his regular season debut on Friday.

Arthur had spent eight months rehabbing from an Achilles injury, but suffered a leg fracture in September.

"We need him," Zach Randolph said. "He's an energy guy. He picks up full-court (defense). He's good in pick-and-pops. He's big for us and people have to respect him."

The Grizzlies have one of the NBA's best frontcourt duos in Randolph and Marc Gasol, but they can certainly use the depth Arthur provides.

Arthur was unable to walk for two months following the Achilles injury.
