That Stephen Jackson hit really got Crawford. He might not play during some of the triangle games. This is really a big loss if we have any hope on winning any games vs. the triangle. Link
That's.......bad. There's no two ways about it, there is nothing good to this with the lone exception that perhaps we'll see more Penny and Ariza. This will put more pressure on Nazr, and Nazr really hasn't demonstrated that he has any skills when the heat is on. So this may leave a bruise or two.
ouch that hurts the knicks mentally because they think crawford is imprtant to the team. but in actuality they are better team (in my opinion) without him and I predict all wins while hes out.

Although he has a questionable shot selection at times, the pros to his game definitely outweighs the cons to his game. He is fast, a great ballhandler, a good fastbreak player, a good shooter (when he takes good shots), turning into a solid defender, versatile, need I say more? If Crawford was such a bad fit prior to his injury why did he manage to score 18.5ppg, 3+apg, 2+spg and a 39% three point percentage? What you stated about Crawford is valuable to this Knicks team it's a fact. The Knicks will be facing the Texas Triangle teams that all have better overall teams then the Knicks. Although I like to think about my Knicks doing well against great teams, predicting a win vs. NBA championship contenders without their second option is rediculous.
Crawford is very important to the Knicks without a doubt. Does anyone else think it's ironic(and upsetting) that we brought Crawford in as an insurance policy for Houston and is himself hurt? I'm just hoping the Knicks dont let this loss get to them. It is a heavy loss but we do have guys who can pick up the slack. I'm more concerned about how they deal with Crawford being out mentally. Will they just fold up and get crushed or step up? I stand by what I said in the other thread. The Knicks can still deal with the Rockets even without Crawford. The Spurs and Mavericks will be tougher but we can beat the Mavericks without Crawford. He's is a prolific scorer but our bench guys can make up those points. I am by no means down playing Crawford's role and importance. But we can get through these games without him.
