No excuses! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The words crept into conversations with consistency the Rockets rarely showed on the court. "No excuses." Rockets players hit upon the sentiment regularly, knowing that the reasons for their failures or frustrations the past four seasons have followed them like tag-along little brothers. Though they might have been valid at times, the excuses have proved unsatisfying and irrelevant. And as the Rockets move to this week's start of training camp -- players with three or fewer years of experience report today, and the rest of the team checks in Thursday -- they consistently come back to the same general theme. "No excuses." </div> http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/s.../bk/bkn/2126123 I think this is the exact type of attitude that we need. There have been excuses every year since '95 as to why we havent performed up to expectations and I think it is total bull. Its good to see Jeff come in and lay the foot down on the team. Every team has injuries and everyteam can complain about how they didnt make the playoffs. Adversity is a part of life. Everyday people are presented with obstacles. It is how you deal with those obstacles which determine how you stand. Will you complain about them or will you work harder to overcome them? It is pretty evident that this year there wont be complaining. However, talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words.
