As a young buck, how did you acquire pornography?

Mainly for the older ladies and germs who were pre-internet.

We bought movies from this store on Belmont that didn't card for buying porn movies.

Also, there was some dude at school who sold penthouses and shit. :MARIS61:

Once I went to the recycling center in beaverton and looked through their bins. hah. I think I found one playboy or penthouse or something. I'd also go to Waldenbooks and hide a porn behind another magazine and read it in the store.

 

I watched ABM and his endless train of women at our townhouse.

I remember in college, there was a nerdy dude too shy to buy porn movies, so he gave me money to go buy some. I got him a Beavis and Butthead parody porn movie. haha.

We also had tapes that were passed around from bro to bro. The "Splices" tape, it was pretty funny everyone made vague references to it throughout college and beyond.

 

Google images, past them into word and print it. One time I had a floppy disk(lmao) full of naked girls on it. When I went to my dads I would watch the porn on hbo and starz and all those channels.

Edit I just saw this said pre-internet. I didn't live pre-internet lol

 

I remember I downloaded some naked picture on some USEnet group or something on a BBS I discovered. It took overnight to download one pic of Amber Lynn spread eagle. Modem kept on disconnecting too so I had to do it late at night.

Totally worth it.

I'm not old enough to be pre-internet either, but i remember really old Real Sex episodes on HBO like 10 or more years back. Had a bunch of groady middle aged people on it, but hey, it was boobs.

Oh the days of Benny Hill . . . then there was the big step to HBO soft porn.

 

When we were like 15, we'd go buy a magazine as a group, from Plaid Pantry at like 1am

 

ONTV, plus I found some kid's stash of centerfolds buried in sawdust under the bleachers at a livestock auction place in a really, really small town.

I think I still have a couple of them somewhere, lol...

 

Aside from the internet or your parents porn collection HBO was the best thing. I remember one time watching a planet of the apes parody called "playmate of the apes" it was classic soft core porn, women without shirts on trapped in cages by men in monkey costume.

 

Friend on mine had a treeshouse. Guy across the street had an old school bus for storage. We broke in the bus and found an igloo cooler FULL of mags. Penthouse, Hustler etc.

Before I could say "let's take em", each of my friends had a handle and were carrying it across the street to the treehouse.

My cousin's grampa was a hoarder and we found the small mags that were hardcore in the basement. I hid those in the firewood under the deck at my house.

Then when I was 20, my grandmother got AOL and my brother found thumbnail gallery post. You would open the website to a bunch of squares with red x's in the middle. The pics would load line by line and if the girl wasn't cute enough you had to start over and wait.

I finally figured out how to find TIF pictures and scroll through pictures my brother had loaded earlier.

One day it was full of Asian chicks and I asked my brother why he looked at them. He said he didn't. .....IT WAS UNCLE BRUCE!

 

My dad's sock drawer... he had old Penthouses (October 1980 is a particular favorite of mine), which were awesome... and polaroids of mom, which were OH MY GOD PLEASE NO terrifying. He and I kept fighting over the Penthouse. He'd take it from under my bed, I'd find it (in the drawer, in the garage, etc.) and take it back. No confrontation, just a passive game.
