Oakland Athletics right-hander A.J. Griffin was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder and outfielder Michael Taylor was optioned to Triple-A before Sunday's game with the Toronto Blue Jays. The A's recalled left-hander Pedro Figueroa and right-hander Evan Scribner from Sacramento.
