The surging Houston Astros were too much for Matthew Boyd. Aledmys Diaz, Robinson Chirinos, Jake Marisnick and Alex Bregmanhomered for Houston, and the Astros beat the Detroit Tigers 8-1 on Monday night, extending their winning streak to six games. Two of those homers came off Boyd, the Detroit lefty who is off to a fine start this season but lasted only four innings in his shortest start of the year.
