The Houston Astros signed shortstop Ronny Cedeno to a one-year contract Sunday and informed shortstop Tyler Greene he will not make the season-opening roster. The 30-year-old Cedeno is an eight-year major league veteran who hit .259 in 78 games with the New York Mets last season. He is in the Astros' lineup for Sunday's exhibition game against the Miami Marlins.
