Nod to Royals. Fell a game short of WS Championship
last year. Pitching as always wins this series.

I'm pulling for the Stros because they've never won anything.

Not.............. They are way too cocky for me to root for them. Carlos Gomez can kiss my ass.

I can't stand Gomez either but I remember when the Astros first became a team as The Houston Colt 45s. And in there early years had guys like Rusty Staub, Joe Morgan & the toy cannon Jimmy Wynn.

...like I mentioned the other day, I don't see the Astros going far because like the Yanx, their offense is too dependent on the HR...and that is usually exposed and defused when facing top notch pitching.
...unlike the Yanx, the Astros did also lead the league in SBs, but they also struck out more than any other team...conversely, KC struck out the least.

I think Toronto and KC are going to lay the smack down.

^^^yeah, I think they both have the pitching advantage.

...Keuchel is done for a few days and Houston isn't good at all on the road...yeah, I know, they beat the Yanx.

I also think the Royals & Jays will advance but I'd like to see the Astros over the Royals just to see a new team in there.

The A+ Minor Astro's Team resides here in town. They won 2 CA. League Championships, last year 014, and 012, and lost this year......

I mentioned in ST of 014, "The Astro's will be in the Playoffs by 2016" and a Series by 017-018. Due to their numerous back to back to back etc 1st Draft Picks....

Over achievers this year? The Stro's aren't done putting all the pieces together. With Nolan in charge of the Farm Clubs, Talent, landing Prospects as VP, and His Son as prez. I do believe the Stro's are a Team of Destiny. But, Certainly NOT this year. I'm pulling for a Cubbies-Bums NLCS. Hoping either won wins a Series.....

Tho' I think the Bums can beat the Cubs in a NLCS, (Bums took 4 of 7 vs the Cubs this Season).....Good to see Mad-Don at the helm of the Cubs ship......

I do want to see A Cubs World Series Victory before I die, and I do think that will happen sooner than latter, maybe not this year, but like the Stro's both are young teams. Epstein landed a lot of young talent by trading all the prior pieces, and re-building. The stro's simply are using homegrown talent; with some Young Guns hurling 99 mph out here, and soon will make the big club and complete the Team.

I do hope by next year both young Clubs, have added the pieces they need to be in and win a W.S.

I sure do not think, the Yanx will be any different next year than they were this one. Trashcan has lost his mind......if he ever had one....

Next year is an EVEN year (2016) so that could only mean one thing & one team, The Giants. 2010, 2012, & 2014.

Royals and Jays, no question. However lets not forget that in Back to the Future....it was 2015 and the Cubs won the WS.

Thanks Rick. Now Friday there are 4 games. I think I will do the 2 early ones tonight because if I don't I will be doing a good imitation of the Exorcist.
