This is no doubt the best time of the year with all the rankings coming out but I have to say these are one of the worst I've seen. North Carolina at 24? I'm a fan but I don't think they will even crack the top 50 this year. Northern Iowa is definitely a sleeper team but I want to see what they can do on the court before I put them in any sort of top 25 ranking. I'd also have 'Nova a bit higher, at least above Arizona and Oklahoma.
Yeah, Nova and UConn are top 5 calibur teams, IMO. But this list pretty much sucks all around. I believe teams like Northern Iowa and Nevada need to prove in the beginning of the season that they are really top 25 material. I just wouldn't put them there in a preseason poll...
