Kapono and Walker may end up shooting the lights out for both teams, while Okafor battles down low for rebounds against Jason Collier, who's still showing the results of a Shaq elbow to his face. Not to worry, for all of you that want fast-paced, blazing action...Brevin Knight and Kenny Anderson will be one matchup you absolutely can't miss, even if your girlfriend wants to "make out" during the game. And to really push the excitement button, look for the veterans Steve Smith and Kevin Willis to play significant minutes throughout the game. Brandon's Prediction On a serious note...the Hawks should pull away with this one, unless Al Harrington and Antoine Walker see limited minutes. However, I'll call the upset by the Bobcats, and say Charlotte comes away with the steal, 78-74.
I like the way how you do your previews. If the Bobcats are going to win, Jason Kapono will need hit some 3's and the 'Cats will need to cover Al Harrington and Childress closely.
Nice job on the preview realdealbneal. If you want, maybe we can split previews time-to-time during the season?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Nice job on the preview realdealbneal. If you want, maybe we can split previews time-to-time during the season?</div> Hmm...I don't know. I'm writing the Laker previews this season. The reason I did previews for the Cats was because this forum isn't hopping like the others...and guys need to realize something about the Bobcats and Emeka Okafor. Watch Emeka this year...and pay real close attention to him...because he's going to be an All-Star in a few years, and everyone will regret not watching his "early" years once he becomes big in the NBA. Take Shaq for instance. A lot of guys didn't watch him because he was on the Magic, and there weren't very many fans back then compared to all of the Bulls fans in the East, and the Rockets fans in the West...but Shaq turned out to be great, and now everyone asks me if I have footage of him, clips of his dunks, etc. from his early years. Don't take your eyes off him or Ben Gordon...two guys that may not get the attention that LeBron and Melo got, but could be just as good later on in their careers.
Like others said, good format of your preview. It's not too long and does not have unneccesary parts that no one else would read anyways. It's informative enough and yet does not bore anyone. Not that I'll be copying your style for my previews though. On to the game, the Bobcats, despite their relative projected weakness as an expansion team, will still beat the Hawks. Atlanta, as proven in their earlier preseason games, will really be the worst team this year. I haven't paid much attention to their preseason, but it seems that every game they play has been double-digit blowout losses. I see Charlotte taking this one in a battle of bad against worse.
Well, thanks guys...but my previews are similar to Emo's also (and probably Kobe 8 Ball's, but I'm not sure). I just adjusted a few things and went with it.
