http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=nets...ov=st&type=lgns So SAR isn't going to NJ anymore. I wonder if New Jersey is still a "powerhouse". I guess this is good news for Celtics fans because they probably were on a higher level with Shareef. Without him, I think we can compete for the Division. I wonder if Thorn has a backup plan.
Well, I think we can compete for the crown, but I still think New Jersey has the edge. The big 3 is going to make it tough for teams to outscore them. I think Thorn has a backup plan as well, maybe work a deal for Wilcox or Gooden. Philly is also a threat for the division crown. AS for the Knicks and Raptors, well never mind that. I think NJ holds the edge though. Thrilla whoz the dude in your sig lol.

The Knicks have just as much chance as winning the Atlantic as the Celtics do. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Thrilla whoz the dude in your sig lol.</div> Looks like Joel Przybilla to me. The Atlantic should be more competitive now and New Jersey isn't a 'lock' anymore. The Kidd/VC/Jefferson trio should be hard to stop, but it still has its share of problems such as injuries. Also upfront, the Nets lack. Krstic will become a good player, but foul woes will continue to take a toll on him and Jason Collins. They need more depth in the frontcourt and even though Marc Jackson helps, he's far from a savior. It's tough to tell who will win the Atlantic because everyone is so close.
yeah any team has a shot at winning the atlantic...its a matter of which team stays healthy and doesnt go on any huge losing streaks...I personally think NJ will win it, but New York will be right there, and if Toronto gets their act straight, they have some serious talent on that team...
