Over the past few weeks I have noticed a significant drop in the quality of posting in the Orlando Magic Forum. I would like to give you a friendly reminder regarding some of the recent posts that have have been coming up as of late. 1. Post Padding. Please use the edit buttom when you feel you have an additional thought to your previous post. 2. Spelling and Grammar. This isn't a spelling bee, nor do I demand perfect spelling. However, it is not hard to spell out common words. Rather than post 'u, wit,' etc. spell out the full word - It won't kill you. 3. One Liners. Posts such as 'HE SUCKSS' or 'lol i dunno' are not acceptable. If you feel one way about a certain issue, please elaborate. We cannot read minds and in order to earn respect as a poster, you must back yourself up. 4. Baiting. Personal attacks are strictly prohibited. If you have an issue with another member, please PM them or myself if you want a moderator to step in. 5. Quoting. When posting an article on the Magic forum, please provide a link to the story. In addition, please do not post the entire article, a few paragraphs will do. With that said, I want to see an improvement in the Magic forum. We've had a lot of hits as of late, which is great, but that doesn't mean a thing in my book if the quality is poor. Thanks, Ice
Do you mean the quality in the lounge or forum? Not to contradict you or anything, but is this some sort of an order for some posters who don't post in the Magic forum to try and help raise the quality by posting there?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chuck:</div><div class="quote_post">She is telling us, the people in the Magic Lounge, to help shape up the Magic Forum.</div> Oh I see, sure I'll help.
I was carefully reading through some of the posts today, and I must say, I completely understan why Ice made this thread...
<font color="Red">This is just a reminder to all of the Magic posters out there. Please read the guidelines and the first post in this thread. I have seen a decline in posts and I think it could possibly be because of the large amounts of new members. Please stop bringing up comments that could be said via the PM system. No one cares about AIM sns, who was closest on predictions, etc. (This is not directed at anyone, just the Magic forum in general). I want us to be the best, and for that to happen we all have to improve ourselves. Thanks.</font>
Sry ice, ill try to keep my mainly pointless posts to a minimum. I think it does help to know who predicted the closest as long as it doesnt get too out of hand.
Yeah, we should be able to say who predicted the closest because it has to do with the thread. I will post better from now as well.
