Hughes has to be the most frustrating pitcher since Ed Whitson....

If you were expecting a good outing by Hughes, all I can say is......................."You funny man"

Vernon you have flubbed in the field and at the dish today, Phil just being Phil. Ed Whitson, what a fine old memory, I think they used to send death threats his way.

...lol...good call Joe...playing the percentages with Logan, have him intentionally walk the batter in order to face a switch hitter?...and then leave Logan in to face Chris Davis who promptly takes him yard, even though you had Joba warmed up and waiting...again, good call Joe.

...fwiw, the whole inning was set up by Gardner's misread on the pop up...I'm so sick of hearing how great his defense is.

That is the truth. He is over-rated defensively. He's no Elliot Maddox (Humor).... Girardi with his lineup today just pisses me off. Suzuki is mashing lefthanders and we get the one man rally killer in Wells. There are 7 players currently on this roster that shouldn't be on the roster at this portion of the year. Stewart, Wells, Joba, Hughes, Logan, Overbay, and Nix. And I think you mean Nelson not Davis, although today he looked like Davis with 2 dingers...

Per Yes Broad cast team the last time the Yankees has 14 hits with 2 runs was against the Cleveland Indians in June 1954.
