On Thursday, Australia announced that they will be banning logos and brands on all cigarette packs that are commercially sold in stores.

The packets will carry large anti-smoking stickers while the cigarette brand will be in small-print somewhere on the packet.

Australia also raised the tax on cigarettes by 25% with the proceeds going to healthcare.

Tobacco advertising and enclosed public smoking is also banned in Australia but tobacco-related deaths still cost the government more then 31.5 billion.

New Zealand also increased the tax on cigarettes by 10%.
