Was just on my way home from the game and two cars were racing in the snow on some back streets here in my neighborhood. They came flying through an intersection almost crashing into me…. I swerved, and went into a curb, scraping up both my passenger rims on my car. Would love any help if any of you gee…… nerd….. errr Blazer FAMS have a connection in the department. Going to have to be fixed and painted for sure. @THE HCP is LIVID!!!!!
Hit the curb not head on, kinda sideswiped the curb. Alignment and balance felt just fine. Damage only to the rims! I am heated.
Start calling wrecking yards in a few weeks. Chances are someone wrecked their Audi in this snow and ice and you can buy the rims cheap.
Usually they have guys that can refinish and paint wheels to get the curb scratches out. At least out here in LA, its like $100 per wheel. Dunno who in PDX can do that.
You should probably just file a claim with your insurance and get the car looked at. Fixing or replacing your rims are probably going to be more than your deductable.
One of the cars , a keep full of kids went up the curb into a bush. Before I could jump out of my car to whip somebody’s ass they tore out of there. Other car continued on without stopping.
Ya I know some dudes. My friend owns 503 Motoring, but even with my hookup he wants $400 a rim!!!! I’m not that much of a baller!
This is why I don’t mess with the snow. Too many crazies on the road even when there’s no snow. Add snow and it’s Russian roulette
