    Ottawa coach Paul MacLean was the first to admit it was about as ugly as it can get.

    Joakim Lindstrom scored twice and Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 15 saves in his first start for Colorado to help the Avalanche rout the Senators 7-1 on Thursday night.
