Question: I will be in New York City for the Knicks-Blazers game in late January of next year. Is there a contact at the team that can help with obtaining tickets to away games like this? Right now, the prices on the secondary markets are absolutely insane. If this needs to be moved to off-topic, I can understand, but it would be nice to have some type of resource for this in the future.

i have no clue but he has been a Blazers season ticket holder and he has lived in NY (might now be back there?)

Anyhow, a great person who, im sure if he knows anything, would be happy to help.

Good luck! NYC is not the city I think of for NBA tickets with palatable prices.

Although I do think right now might be a bad time to buy. People are usually most optimistic before the season and hesitant to sell tickets. Also are all the Knicks individual tickets even available yet from the team? Might be more released from the team at some point. Keep an eye out for any Knicks losing streak in December to buy. Of course theres a risk the team gets hot and tickets get even more expensive.

If it were me I might buy some crappy seats at first with the hope you can find a deal on much better seats at some point - in which case you resell the ones you first bought with hopefully minimal loss.
