Over the whole season we have grown to watch one of the quieter player who did not get the praise of last season. But now he has come into this season and has been our great leader. His name of course is Michael Dawson. After signing him from notts forest in january 2005 some people had said that he may not have been able to cut it in the premiership. ever since he has joined he grown to be a tottenham icon in the present era. With his leadership and no nonsense defending you may say he sounds like a captain, but with ledders as captain you cannot complain. With him and king at the back there have been alot of praise with tottenhams solid defence and i would like not be the first to recognise the great pleasure of having to great leaders in ledley king and michael dawson! So next time when my fellow yids go for a drink raise a glass for the magnificent pairing of king and dawson!
I've been seeing more and more of Dawson and he really does seem like a great defender. Great tackling, positioning, heading and can play the ball instead of hoofing it as high as possible.
