What I have seen from Hinrich and Crawford on the floor at the same time... success. And absolute success it has been. I'm not sure about anyone else, but when I am watching the game and Crawford and Hinrich are in... I feel a certain excitment. Something that makes me watch closer, and enjoy. I think that that's what they brign to the table. It seems to me, like they work together prefectly. Both have majorly different styles of game, and I think it helps them. Hinrich wants to make the best pass possible. He wants to set up his team mates for a score. Where as Crawford, also likes to make the fancy pass, and give the ball to an open guy, but he likes to score the basketball. They are the perfect back court. Jamal to score, Hinrich to pass. Since the Raptors trade, the both of them have been seeing a lot more playing time. They both have shown what they can do, with the proper treatment and playing time. But my question to you, the fans, is will this backcourt be kept together for a long while? Or will Jamal Crawford be let do into free agency? Or do you even think they are a good mix? I want to hear some opinions.
As an absolute Bulls fan, I wish they were the back court of the future. But I doubt they are, or if they are, I doubt they will lead the Bulls back to the promised land. I can tell that they play well together, but I think Crawford sees himself as a big point guard instead of an undersized 2 guard, and when someone like that gets moved, it usually spells trouble. Also, when Jay gets back, and he's even a shadow of his old self, it could spell trouble. I think that the Bulls will resign Crawford in the off season, but that in the not too distant future they will deal him, possibly for a better scoring guard. But I guess it depends on how crawford matures for the rest of the year.
I think (and hope) Jamal Crawford will stay in Chicago. This backcourt is working, im certain he and Kirk both are enjoying this oppurtunity.
