I still think Philly will win the divsion but Super Bowl. hmmmmm probably not. Cowboys and Redskins are still kinda up in the air in my opinion and the Giants are yet to win a game away from the Meadowlands.

I agree with this. I think the Giants will be walking away with that division.

Eagles fans do seem to have disappeared, wonder why. :cheesey:

The eagles seem hopeless. They had no D at all!! and they struggled on offense. Wooooooo Giants in first!

I felt sorry for the Redskins though. Gibbs benched Brunell and thought Ramsey would turn things around. Which was impossible because they had like a huge lead already.

They have played like crap and they are still 4-3. The next 3 games are crucial...Redskins, Cowboys and Giants. If they can win all 3, they there is no problem. 2-1 is still Ok, if they go 1-2 then the worries can really start. Eagles historically under Andy are a November team, and they start slow (except last year).

The defense is what is really worries me. Even in 2003 when their D-line was all injured the D did not play this bad. We just have to hope that Andy can right the Ship.

Last year Green Bay started out 1-4 and went on to win the division. In 2003 the Eagles were 2-3 and went on to go to the NFC championship games. The playoff birth is not won in September or October but in November and December. The season is not even half over yet, talk to me on December 31st and we'll see where they are at.

dude its the half season mark and the NFC East is Brutal. Theres a chance bt theeagles did very little in free agency, Mcnabb is hurt and your D is the most inconsistant in the league. You stop LT for 7 and then let up over 260 for Tatum Bell and Mike Anderson. Every team is stil in this but Isee the Eagfkles getting either the 6th WC or missing the playoffs. The big game is Eagles VS Cowboys, if they take you I see you guys missing the playoffs.

A week ago it was the Cowboys and Eagles that were the best in the NFC East. Now it's just the Giants.

Last year the Giants started 5 - 2 and finished 6-10.

Eagles are not playing to potential now, but they are still a very talented team and based on what I have seen the last 5 years, I have the confidence that they can and will turn it around.

The Eagles have some problems, but I'm not ready to write them off yet. They have a favorable schedule from here on out. On the other hand, I expect Dallas to finish 3rd.

Ultimately, like E4L said, the next three weeks will be crucial, with all the intra-divisional games.

I think to be considered the best in your divsion you have to win a game away from home. hmmmmm have the Giants done that. Not yet! Will they. Probably. The Eagles are what a game out of first and they've played how many divsion opponenets. None!!! These next 3 weeks will tells how good the NFC East really is and how bad the Eagles might be or how good they might still be.
