We haven't lost back to back games since Feb. 19th!!!!! Fuck that's impressive! Also I saw a stat today on the broadcast that we have the 5th best winning% in the league since the all-star break! All you guys that come on here and crack on our squad after loses need to sit back and look at the big picture. We have overcome so much this year and played way above expectations. I'm proud of these guys!
I want results in the post season. I'm sick of "we did well for a young team" or "we did well for an injured team." 5th best winning % after All Star break but first round and out would be depressing me. What did we do it for?
They aren't excuses. It's reality! Were we the youngest team last year? Were we one of the most injured teams in the history of the NBA this year? Yet after all that we still are gonna win 50 games! And you are pissed about this?
nope that was Golden State 16 of their last 21 or nearly an 80% winning clip. That'll work... for now STOMP
And somehow you seem to not see the real possibility that we could win not just one but maybe two or three rounds in the playoffs. I have it seen it happen and here in Oregon too. Keep it in perspective, there have only been thirty teams that have won it all in the last thirty years. Just one team a year, why did the rest even try?
I have to agree with "THE" (but what kind of a moniker is that, anyway?) The Blazers have done incredibly well this year, given all of their injuries. Who thought that when Oden and Pryzbilla went down we had a chance in hell of winning 50 games? Go Blazers!!!!
i think what eric is saying.... it would be nice to see the blazers finally advance into the next round. theres always a reason the blazers when the blazers lose.. or an excuse. just like now everyone will use roy as excuse if we get blown out in the first round. eric wants to see some progress and not sit on the injuries excuse the rest of the season. good thing roy got hurt.... or there would be no injuries as an excuse in the playoffs.
And we all want to. But why complain abou twinning in the playoffs BEFORE the playoffs. That's my issue. Why not enjoy what is happening as it is happening, and take the playoffs when they come? I have enjoyed big chunks of this season, and will worry about the playoffs three days from now, and whether we get out of the first round. I'm not going to sit here and not enjoy games like yesterday's upset of the Lakers just because of the potential we lose in the first round.
