Okay, this probably isn't that realistic, but I've been watching the Missouri/Memphis game and this guy has been ALL over the court the entire game. He's 6'8" and has a big frame, looking really strong. He's also made a few drive and cuts with the ball, which I wouldn't have expected him to be able to do...figured he was all power and no finesse. But he keeps on fighting.

Not saying the Blazers will or should get him, but I like what I've seen from him (granted, in only 1 game) and he could surely be had with a second round pick. Anyone else see him and semi-agree?

Eh thinking more about it, I know it's probably not feasible. I just really like the hustle and fight that I see. Whoever we get for that position will hopefully have that drive. I think there are a couple of experienced college big men to choose from in this draft (like Hansbrough, Brockman).

I think Leo Lyons is a better NBA prospect than DeMarre Carroll.

But Carroll is a great guy to bring in to up the intensity in practice imo. Not sure if he can stick in the league, but when you play that hard, anything could happen. He could be Renaldo Balkman like, or maybe even the second coming of Jerome Williams.

I haven't seen any Missouri basketball this year...maybe a minute or two in an earlier NCAA round (I remember the name "Kim English" from one of them, so I know I did see a bit).

But Carroll was all over today. Didn't see Lyons do too much but saw he fouled out.

Lyons had 15 points 13 rebounds and 2 blocks. He had a bad shooting night going 2-10, but he drew fouls well.

He's nothing better than a 2nd round pick. Probably doesn't get drafted. But he does a pretty good job scoring inside. He has hit a lot of big shots at important moments in games this year. He is a skileld big man with a decent body.

Not a great prospect by any means, but a hardworker type who could become a solid NBA player if he continues working hard.

Why don't we just make a trade for Ronny Turiaf, and bring over Freeland instead?

Who knows what kind of plans KP has, but I get the feeling that this is the year to to trade out of the draft and consolidate a little bit ... but also adding some depth from stockpiled picks from years past.

Brockman will go undrafted. Way too undersized.

God I would love if we could get Turiaf.
