First off, my favorite players go to work everyday (ball their asses off), display charming personalities (for the public of course - we don't know who they really are) and are leaders (no excuses no contradictions no whining).

Oh yeah. Being handsome, sexy and having nice teeth are all factors as well.

Stevie Francis is at the TOP of my list.

Tracy McGrady is NOT on my list.

Definitely not after that fight with Bobby Jax a few years back.

    BUT!

I respect his game because he makes it look effortless which means he works hard and he speaks his mind. Like Jay-Z said, "These are my thoughts. Just was I was feeling at the time."

You can't fault anyone for that.

    Read this article:

Respond about Tracy and the words that come out his mouth (or ass) and also about his comments on gay NBA players.

This should be an interesting discussion.

This was a pointless thread for you to even start. It wasnt like McGrady randomly said "5% of the players are gay." Bill Schulz asked him that question. I dont know why, maybe he wanted to hook up with T-mac. As for him being sexy with nice teeth that is just stupid. Tmac looks fine to me. His game makes up for his looks anyhow. Yeah he has a lazy eye so what. I bet you have some part about you that isnt what you call "sexy." Do you have perfect white teeth? I bet Stevie had those capped off anyways. And tmac does go to work everyday. Did you read that other thread titled Tmac is NOT about to rest? Check that out before you claim he isnt on your list because he doesnt work hard. The charming personality thing, i can disagree there too. I met tmac over the summer, hes very nice and down to earth. As for team leader how many years has he lead his team into the playoffs? Every single year hes been in Orlando!(Yes i know they got out of the first round, but without him they would just be in the lotto) So before you start claiming he doesnt work hard get the facts straight

    RE: READing is fundamental

First off, I have my fav players and that is just that! Tracy is not on my list because he is or isn't any of those things. As for my fav players and the ones I cheer for and buy merchandise to represent - he's not one of them.

What's ignorant of you is that you didn't fully read the post. Maybe I should have asked for only adults to respond because you're probably some sensitive, pimply teen with raging hormones.

I asked for responses to his comments pertaining to the article not about how I felt about him. I know once this magazine ships the issue his comments will start more discussions about homosexuality because there are a lot of things going on in sports besides scoring. It won't matter about any of the other words he said because the media will take the comments they deem are entertainment worthy.

I clearly gave him his props (IF you would have READ the post) but he's not a player that I cheer for in the arena when he comes to town.

Lastly, I'm sure one of the rules in this forum or at least a known fact is that you should READ the posts before responding. A POINT you didn't seem to care LESS about.

Would the persons who actually would like to discuss and respond to the questions I put forth in the FIRST post please feel free to do so. Smiles. If this topic is too much or may be too graphic for minors please click the back button on your browser.

T-mac just says it how it is. he doesn't sugar coat anything. some people like it some don't. But at least he doesn't pretend to be something he's not like other players!

    Exactly. Like I'd written before:

    "...he speaks his mind.

Like Jay-Z said, "These are my thoughts. Just was I was feeling at the time."

He could speak out tomorrow and have a quote saying you know what I was mistaken, it's more like 10% or 2% or even 80%.

As I stated before he speaks his mind and you can't fault anyone for that.

    Opinions are just that. Opinions.
