Watching the game up close tonight - someone gave me amazing seats - what I noticed:

Jarred Bayless - The sort of guy you hate playing with. A complete me-first ball-hog. Looks to drive and that's about it. No wonder he's not getting a shot to prove himself.

Blake: Shot a lot too, but he was playing the 2 with Miller. Speaking of

Andre Miller - Another total ballhog tonight. He's the pass first PG?

Travis: Always liked him and his game, but at this point he offers nothing that isn't offered better by someone else.

Wait, so Blake gets a pass because he was playing the two, but Bayless was also playing the two.

With Roy, Aldridge, Rudy, and Oden out (basically our four best scorers), who exactly were these guys supposed to pass to?

Great point. Bayless did not play the point tonight, and Blake played it for 10 minutes.

Did you see anything you liked tonight? I thought Oden was very productive in the limited minutes he was out there.

I wonder why Nate is playing Miller at the PG and sliding Blake over to SG if Miller is less of a pass first PG than Blake. Maybe I'm reading too much into this...

Because Miller can't shoot, I guess.

Some people don't get it. The reason why the shooting guard is called the shooting guard is because they are called upon to shoot a lot in the offense. Bayless is a shooting guard. You will also notice that while he was in the game with Miller, the Blazers got up for quite a while. Then you will also notice that when the Blake/Miller lineup was in they sucked ass and squandered the whole lead.

When your lineup is Miller, Bayless, Martell, Outlaw and Joel on the floor who the fuck do you expect to score? Do you still wonder why Bayless was attacking the hoop (and getting to the line an asshload)? Somebody had to score. It sure as hell wasn't going to be that clueless blackhole chucker Outlaw.

When the lineup is Miller, Blake, Webster Outlaw and Pryzbilla that lineup is fucking horrible. Nobody can score but Miller, and they just stood around watching him the whole time.
