What are your opinions on rijkaards new system? Personally, i dont think it works as well as their 4-3-3. I mean, they have some of they best wing backs in the world, and especially with ronaldinho and messi making inside runs, there's plenty of space for v.bronckhorst, belleti etc.
I don't see why all this nitpicking as come about. Is it just because Liverpool knocked them out of the CL. I really don't think Barca have anything to worry about with the great players they have in their team. To lose to Liverpool is no shame because we all know what a fantastic knockout team they are and that Rafa is a master tactiction when it comes to these stages. He even told the world what system Barca was gonna play at Anfield to which Rikyaard commented saying 'why does he think he knows how we are going to play' when he did because he was spot on. The reason people are having a go at Barca is to try to belittle Liverpools achievement against them. Ok Eto'o had a fall out but 1 player doesn't make a team as we all know. If I was Messi ,Xavi et al I would be massively pissed off at the suggestion and try to prove them wrong. Don't worry Barca are still a great team!

The only reason everyone is commenting on Barca's tactics is because of the defeat to Liverpool. As I have said in previous conversations with you I really do think you need to learn how to READ and not just see the words.

4-3-3 wasnt at its est so they changed it and they aint don bad since that put Thuram at the back who is a rock and 3 very talented midfielders in Deco, Iniesta and Xavi.
It doesnt work because all the players are arguing and so is the manager and president or whatever he is called in spain.
My point was that they played their wing backs really well, and thats what made them such a great team. Im sure they've got the talent to be able to play the 3-4-3, but compared to the 4-3-3 does it work better for barca?
