His shots been much better as whole, but both him and Sam have agreed that he won't be attempting to many 3's during the preseason in an attempt to build the rest of his offensive game. He only attempted 2 against Minny and nailed them both. I'm glad there's another big time Bargnani fan here to share my optimism with. He's had arguably the most impressive preseason of any player on this roster and could really make a huge impact coming off of the bench.
Well, just my honest opinion from what I've seen from him, he didn't look impressive at all against in his game against the Lakers, granted it's only one game in the preseason, so it's a VERY small sample size. But overall, I haven't really been impressed with him. Do you still think he can be that franchise player he was sought out to be? Btw, Jermaine O'Neal impressed me. If he can stay healthy this season, I'll think he'll turn a lot more heads. Personally I thought he was done, but he looked pretty good against our frontcourt.
Bargnani won't be a franchise player. A taller Peja Stojakovic at most. He might be the worst 7 foot rebounder in the league. I'll be happy to get 12/5 out of him this season backing up the 3 frontcourt positions.
19 pts (team leader) 7 rebs (team leader, 3 offensive) 3 blks (team leader) i know he had 5 TO and 4 fouls but focus on the positives
AB's going to be just fine off the bench this season. I'm confident of that. he looked good blocking Jones tonight. hilariously, his little half hook off his offensive rebound was probably the best hook i've seen him shoot. most importantly his shot looks back on track - from outside and midrange. i'm expecting 15 ppg from him this season. he's the key to our bench.
