    Barkley must be crying inside.

I think he'll come back for one more year at least.

At least one more year. Will you excuse his mistakes now? Imo he coached Finals perfectly, also ran a great play in game 4. He must come along for one more year, otherwise I'm scared.

I just think we need a dependable backup for Kobe, someone athletic with length. I know Shannon is a combo guard but we need another lanky defender, Ariza type at the SG. It will help us greatly imo, give Kobe some extra rest.

We have Farmar, Ammo, and Fish's contracts to play with. I expect Fish to still be involved as some limited 20 MPG player at least though. Jumpshooters can stick around for a while, and he is a leader.

He said he's taking two weeks off for vacation and then he'll see what the team plans on doing and decide what he wants to do. I'm pretty sure he'll be back next season. He wants to break Riley's record for most titles coaching the Lakers. They are tied at four a piece now.

You really think that record means a lot to him, Shape?

He said after the game that he's gonna take some time off, and then have a discussion with Jerry and the management about the direction of the team. If we can get everybody to return, including Lamar/Trevor, I see him coming back. If not, there's a chance he leaves.

I don't foresee PJax leaving yet. I think he'll come back for at least next year, and I think there's potential that he comes back after that depending on how he feels physically.
