Barkley Under Investigation <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Former NBA star Charles Barkley is under investigation for indecent assault, police said Monday. A woman reported she was assaulted by Barkley at the nightclub 32 Degrees, Cpl. Jim Pauley said. ``We want to stress that no charges have been filed,'' Pauley said. ``This incident is under investigation.'' Police received the report at 1:20 a.m. Friday, Pauley said. The investigation is being conducted by the department's Special Victims Unit, and police did not release any details of the allegation.</div> <div align="center">Full Story</div>
I hope he "tells it as it is" See this is what happens when you get paid for no reason on Inside the NBA.
Damn, I hope this is not true. If it is he might just tell the truth as Prodigy said. But I hope this doesn't escalate(sp) any further.
Not surprising if its true. I could see Barkley getting drunk in a nightclub and making inappropriate advances on women. I remember a story a while back when Charles was in the locker-room, and some lady reporter came in to ask him questions after a game. He just took off his towl nonchalantly while answering her questions, and later she tried pressing charges against him. I thought it was kind of funny, actually.
haha, like he said in his famous Nike commercial, "I AM NOT A ROLE MODEL!" But I still hope that he didn't do it, because I love him. He is one of the greatest players of all time, and some of my friends call me "The Round Mound Of Rebound."

He admitted doing it It might have been that she asked if she could come in, he told her to come on in, and he didn't have his towel on. Maybe something along those lines.
Barkley's Statement is so true about him being not wanting to be a Role Model.with what he did,he proved himself right on about that comment.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that this new incident is something minor. Charles doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would assault anyone.
I'll agree with another statement already said - He's no role model and he admits it. A drunk Charles Barkley has indecent assault written all over it. Hopefully all will go well for both parties.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting durvasa:</div><div class="quote_post">Have you ever seen Charles on a basketball court? </div> OK ok... But he still doens't seem like the type. He's got a good sense of humor and he's intelligent. A guy that I wouldn't be surprised to see it from would be someone like Ron Artest, or Dennis Rodman. Not Barkley though.

I'd say he's the type. I like Charles, by the way. Fun personality, awesome player. But he is a bit rough around the edges.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Prodigy:</div><div class="quote_post">See this is what happens when you get paid for no reason on Inside the NBA.</div> LOL. Jayson Williams.......Charles Barkley......??Stephen A. Smith??

But he didn't mean to spit on the little girl, it was because he missed the guy he was aiming at. That counts for something right..?
