Recommendation: Davis called last year "one of the most frustrating seasons of his career" and spent the entire summer resting, dieting and strengthening his ankle as he attempts to play in all 82 games this year for the first time since the 2001-2002 season. Despite battling ankle and hamstring injuries last year, Davis still averaged 17.9 points and 8.9 assists. </div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=roto...re&type=fantasy Yeah 82 games!
That's good to hear, but is the ankle strong enough to hold the hopes of all the Warriors fans to reach the playoffs?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Carter:</div><div class="quote_post">If he plays 82 games this year I will eat my keyboard.</div> Theres no backing out. I'm taking your word for it. Seriously.
If he plays all 82 games I will never say a bad thing about Baron Davis again. Keep in mind if we secure a berth in the playoffs (by some miracle) I bet Nelson will rest him LOL! I guess if he avoids the injured reserve all year I will hardly (versus 'never') say a bad thing about Baron Davis again.
If he plays 75 to 78 games that will be great. Remember, Davis played all 82 games his first 3 years in the league. He can definately do it.
First three years? So maybe Baron Davis and our other first rounder Warriors only play well or stay healthy during a rookie year pay scale.
