<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Sebastian Telfair lost his starting job to Delonte West and Rajon Rondo is eating into the remaining minutes.

“Oh, I’m overly pissed,” Telfair said. “I’m pissed at myself,” he said. “I can’t be pissed at nobody else. Me being on the bench now, I can’t possibly see it having to do with anybody besides myself.”</div>
And he should be pissed at himself. He went from being handed the starting job to 3rd string point guard before the mid-season mark. That's NOT good. It's his third year, he needs to get it together.

But there are two things about all this that bug me the most:

    1. He's not playing like himself!!! I mean, I'm not a guy that would rather have a Baron Davis highlight over a Tony Parker bounce pass, but Bassy's game is to speed it up and show some flash. In summer league.. you all saw the highlights, and some of the passes he made were jaw-dropping. He made about 7 highlight passes in one of those game recaps. We have only seen ONE of them in a real game. Again, I'm not looking for Bassy to make SportsCenter Top 10 every night, but why hasn't he played like Sebastian Telfair? I have never seen him try to be this fundamental, and while you'd think it's a good thing - it really isn't for him.

    2. In preseason and November, Sebastian was playing good basketball. He was hitting his mid-range pull-ups, some 3's, he was very aggressive taking it to the basket, his drive-and-kick game was beautiful, and he barely turned the ball over. After those 2 months, what the hell happened? He has been a COMPLETELY different player out there. Not aggressive offensively, missing a ton of shots, not really making many plays, and his defense has always been poor.

On a side note, it's about f*cking time Rajon got the minutes. Delonte has been playing very well in the starting spot, too.

Nice. It's good to see that Bassy is pissed that he's not playing, and that he knows hes not playing well. Hopefully he can dig himself out of that hole.

For how much talent this guy has, he sure as hell doesn't show it on the court as well as he could. He should be pissed that he is 3rd string now...If he wasnt, their would be something seriously wrong with him. I want to see him try and earn it back, but I dont think its going to happen. Delonte is playing too good right now and so is Rondo.

Well hopefully he uses that anger and puts it into some nasty play. To bad he didn't have that fire when he was getting minutes.

I hated the trade for Telfair when it happened and so far he's done nothing to change my mind. Right now I'm just hoping they can suck some team into trading for him. But why any team would trade for someone who has lost starting jobs and minutes to the likes of Steve Blake, Juan Dixon, Delonte West, and Rajon Rondo is beyond me. Maybe Billy King or Kevin McHale would be dumb enough to do it.

If he doesn't average like 20 and 10 next season I'm slapping the bust label on him. Aside from cutting down on some turnovers, he's made no significant improvement.
