Both My Son and I agree, from the day we heard Ben was cast..... Affleck IMO will ruin the legacy of Dark Knight Films; forever too come......IF there is another Batman Movie, I bet Ben will NOT be in it....I expect this film with Affleck will tank at the Box Offices, we for two aren't even interested in seeing this flick, unlike all the previous Batman Movies, we've seen. Keaton and Bale, did great jobs, IMO, Kilmer was just ok, but Clooney sucked, as did the rest of an all star cast- (Arnold, Carrey, Thurman).... I expect this new Superman/Batman Movie will tank. I 1st met Michael Turner at a Comic Con in San Diego, prior to his 1st Surgery (bone cancer of the leg, then latter Hip)........a couple years later, I'd meet Turner again; here in Town at the Local Comics and Sports Cards and Memorabilia show, (after his 1st surgery, prior to his 2nd and last; which was tooo little too late)....... Mike had no qualms in connecting with his fans, when he had time, and did not hesitate to pull pencil drawings out of his briefcase, which he was still working on. He pulled out one incredible drawing he was 90% done with, which graced the full double paged Wizard Mag, like a pin-up.... Mike re=invented the Femme Fatale unlike no other, he brought roundness to prior outdated Female Characters with DC, and his own Patented Character, ie, Witchblade, Lara Croft Tomb Raider, or his Aspen Comics of characters such as Aphrodite IX, or Fathom..... Not sure which route DC will go on this movie. In past Comics, both Batman went bad, then Superman in secret cahoots with the Dark Knight, kills off Batman, only to fool those who were after his neck for various reasons.......... I'm leaning towards a possible Superman going bad, with Batman saving the day........ either way, both characters, if from previous story lines, both atone, and go from bad to back to good........... something like that, yet with Affleck being Batman, we're avoiding this Flick as its Ben Himself, who will go bad, bad as an Actor trying to fill big shoes, from those past movies, with better actors; (less those noted in previous post).........which others helped to launch Movies of Comic Book characters...... We've also got to thank George and Christopher Reeves, not so much Adam West, as He's made his living being the voice of the Mayor in Family Guy, moreso than from those corny re-run TV shows. But boy were they worth the wait as younger-sters........!
I could never get into the TV series, all those "Holy castration Batman' & "Holy breast implants batman" drove me up a wall.
I concur... I can't watch him as Batman... I just can't... He's going to suck... and I agree... Keaton and Bale did great jobs... Kilmer was a great Bruce Wayne, but only ok as Batman, Clooney did suck... Affleck will be worse than Clooney
