Battie, acquired in a Dec. 15 trade with Boston, has been bothered by a sore knee for weeks. The Cavs have had to reduce his practice schedule and have monitored him closely.

i know he won't but i wish kapono could get some playing time the guy can flat out shoot. I don't mean start or anything but hey lebron at the #3 kapono at the # 2 and mcinnis at the #1 is a big time triple threat on the court.

We needed Battie's production last night. And we would REALLY need it tonight. He would have been a valuable key to help DT Shaq.

We need Battie every night, he could easily be a 10 and 8 player when healthy.

If Battie plays the way he did for the celtics the Cavs will most likely make the playoffs.

Most likely. More like for SURE. He's a huge part of this team and with him we have another BIG body to sub in.

We really need him quite much in games, so I hope he'll be back soon, and help his team more! Love the rotation of Zydrunas, Diop and Battie, it's good, every man step up, and we got no bad center![IMG]

Bad news....Battie is a very hard worker and a key defensive player off the bench. His spark, energy and decent play are needed. I hope he gets back soon.

Cavs probably win the Lakers game if Battie is healthy. His D is comparable to Diop's, but he also brings a half way decent offensive game. When he went on the IR, the Cavs should have signed a big man for a 10 day if they couldn't bring Boumtje-Boumtje off the IR. Having only two big guys while playing against Shaq is just asking for trouble.

I like Kapono's shot, but he's never going to see a lot of PT unless his defense improves. I really think we could work him into games more often, but Silas' rotation has always been an enigma to me.
