Featherweight contender Rey Bautista (29-2, 22 KO’s) defeated Alejandro Barrera (20-4, 13 KO’s) by a 4th round TKO on Saturday night at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. The fight was stopped due to a cut under the left eyelid of Barrera, which the referee ruled had been caused by a punch. Bautista did a good job of landing hard counter shots against Barrera throughout the fight.
