Hey guys, thought I'd drop by :aggressive: - What's up with me? Well, school started last week, and I can firmly say that my schedule is loaded. The year has just kicked in, and I'm already getting upwards of 1:30 - 2:00 of homework per night, all while working almost non-stop during the day! 11th Grade is the sh*t, am I right? :happy0144: - In terms of basketball, I've went from a "lover of the game" to a "fan." This is in term because both of my former coaches have completely shattered my interest. Both have treated me, one of the most dedicated players on my respective teams, as just another player, even though I can firmly say I dive for more balls and make better decisions than anyone. I may not be a 15 Point scorer, but when you're coming off the court with floor-burn and a bloody nose, to statements of: "Sorry, but we need more scoring" one can get discouraged :dribble: - I have also taken a major interest in music, playing guitar occasionally while exploring all types of bands and music. What can I recommend? I have recently gotten back into my favorite band, "Dream Theater", and if you like rock and have an open mind, I strongly recommend picking up their latest release: "Score" :beerchug: - Add in my harsh and sometimes unfair school schedule, and my interest in basketball has flat out gone down. I look upon this board, communicate with its members, and the common variable is that I, along with others just don't have the time, or interest to pour our time into the wonderful world of internet. :ranting: - Wondering if I was having any OTHER problems with the board? Well, let me just say I read the "Missing in Action" thread, and I can firmly say that some of what was said about my absense was true, some was not. While I wasn't liking the direction of the board even in my concluding months of activity, I can still see this place is active, and seems to be a place of escape for many. :boxin: In conclusion, I don't see a return anytime soon. However, that doesn't mean I won't come back, and doesn't mean by any stretch I think this place has gone down the shithole. It just isn't me anymore, simple as that. Now why did I write this? Well, I heard people were wondering where I was, and decided I'd answer some of those questions. Plus, I've never been one to make posts brief :yahoo: Take care boys :winkglasses:
