No! Effing! Way!They did NOT just keep Michigan there right at number 2.The good thing is, 2 teams still in the running will increase their strength of victory while Michigan is done.Arkansas and Florida will dual.Notre Dame and So. Cal. will dual.Arkansas also plays LSU, so when and if they beat LSU then they'll get a boost, then regardless of the team that wins between Florida and Arkansas, the winner gets a boost there. The race isn't over yet. 4 teams are left that can catch Michigan, and all play tough teams to boost their ratings and with the acception of Arkansas none have a tough game outside of playing each other left.Only way Michigan should make it, IMO:Arkansas loses to LSUFlorida loses to ArkansasSo. Cal. loses to Michigan
I have to agree. Michigan has no buisness being ranked #2 still. I personally would have ranked them 4, and would be tempted to drop them behind Notre Dame should they beat USC (Even though Michigan beat Notre Dame)
Notre Dame shouldn't finish ahead of Michigan, b/c Michigan beat them. But it's gonna come down to a 4-team race, as USC and Notre Dame will take one out, Florida-Arkansas will take another out. So if the SEC confrence winner losses another one, and the Notre Dame-USC winner loses, then you can't cry bloody murder on Michigan-Ohio State for the national title.
The #2 lost to the #1 by three so having them still at #2 isnt that suprising...But having them re play for the national title would be annoying. Im still pushing for ND to go to the National Championship
Thats like saying how can you take Michigan over Notre Dame when Michigan already lost to Ohio State... Which is an even more valid point by me considering OSU is #1... Michigan shouldn't get a second chance.
