He deserves an extension for sure...if only he'd re-evaluate his QB situation though and realize 'Hey, none of these guys are that good.'

Bad move. Lovie can't win in the clutch.

Good for him getting his money. For a second I thought the Bears were gonna be too cheap for him. But he needs to re-evaluate his stance on his QB situation. :whistling:

eh im not sure, you kind of have to treat grossman as a rookie last year and he got them to the superbowl. He had some horrible games but he had the same amount of games as peyton manning did of qb rating of 100+. The games he was good, he was amazing and as good as any qb. So you have to let him develop in my opinion.

I understand it was his first full season, but he's also had 3 years of coaching, 8 NFL Starts, and 3 training camps under Lovie Smith entering this year. If he hasn't taken to the coaching by that point, is he ever going to?

Good. Now do the same with Briggs and Jones and open the QB spot for competition

The Lovetron needs to open the QB spot for competition. Here in the City of Weak Shoulders, the backup QB is the most popular player on the team
